Keith Jarrett

Keith started with a great right hand and ended with a great left hand - he says that when he liberated his left hand and gave it freedom to go where it wanted to go it was a huge step forward.
These days I'm more impressed with Brad Mehldau, but Keith laid the path. I wish he'd get another bassist - Gary Peacock is frequently out of tune, and doesn't really add much creativity or originality. Keith seems a loyal guy to his sidemen, but maybe a change is due. While he experiments in the classical world maybe the changes he needs to make are right under his nose. Andy
